Hyderabad to Host Season II of Star Sports Pro Kabaddi

Unveils the logo of Telugu Titans and Introduces the Team

 Star Sports Pro Kabaddi Season II to kick start-in Hyderabad From August 4th – 7th 2015

July 11th, 2015 Hyderabad, India:  Pro Kabaddi League, which was a grand success in 2014,

will make its much awaited return from July 18, 2015. Shri K T Rama Rao, Minister IT and

Panchyat Raj unveiled the Telugu Titans logo and introduced the Telugu Titans team in a grand ceremony

that was held today at Taj Banjara. The home matches of Telugu Titans will be held from August 4th – 7th

2015 at Gachibowli Stadium, Hyderabad, Telangana State, India.

Kabaddi seems to be the flavour of the season with the just launched Star Sports Pro Kabaddi

being played across 8 cities of India. The Star Sports Pro Kabaddi is the most exciting league

with 64 Indian players and 24 International players, an tournament with spectator interest at an

all-time high. In fact it has established itself as the second most watched sport after cricket.

Speaking on the occasion Shri K T Rama Rao, Honorable Minister for IT and Panchyat Raj

said “I am happy that Hyderabad city has been chosen as the host city for the Telugu Titans

matches for the second season of Star Sports Pro-kabaddi.

First ticket for the match is given to Shri K T Rama Rao, Honorable Minister for IT and

Panchyat Raj by Mr. Srinivas Sreeramaneni, Team Owner Telugu Titans.

Speaking on Mr. Srinivas Sreeramaneni, Team Owner Telugu Titans “Hyderabad, the new

home of the Telugu Titans, will play host to the second half of the Star Sports Pro-kabaddi  sport

with the caravan arriving at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad on August 4th – 7th

2015”. By conducting Star Sports Pro Kabaddi, we hope to highlight the modern, international

and competitive face of Kabaddi throughout the length and breadth of the country, and beyond,

which will benefit all stakeholders involved in the ecosystem of the game Kabaddi, most of all,

the players themselves, who will become the new role models for the youth of India.
